HOW TO MANAGE SIDE EFFECTS

Dizziness Or Drowsiness

Managing drowsiness caused by lorazepam involves several strategies to ensure safety and comfort. Firstly, it's essential to avoid activities that require mental alertness or coordination, such as driving or operating heavy machinery, while experiencing drowsiness. Getting ample rest and allowing the body time to adjust to the medication can help alleviate drowsiness over time. Additionally, avoiding alcohol and other sedating substances can minimize the sedative effects of lorazepam. If drowsiness persists or becomes severe, consulting a healthcare professional is recommended to discuss potential adjustments to the dosage or medication regimen. It's important not to abruptly stop taking lorazepam without medical supervision, as this can lead to withdrawal symptoms. Always follow the guidance of a healthcare provider when managing side effects of lorazepam or any other medication.
