INTRODUCTION ABOUT ZIFI CV 200MG TABLET

ZIFI CV 200MG TABLET is a combination of Cefixime and Clavulanic acid, which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It is used to manage bacterial infections of the ear, nose, throat, respiratory tract (bronchus, lungs), urinary tract, and genital tract. It can also be used in the management of typhoid fever.

A bacterial infection can be defined as the proliferation of various harmful strains of bacteria within the body. They can affect any part(s) of the body, including the respiratory tract, urinary tract, reproductive tract, eyes, ears, skin, soft tissue, or bones.

Take ZIFI CV 200MG TABLET for the stipulated duration as instructed by the doctor to achieve better results. Failing to complete the full course of the therapy or skipping doses in between the therapy may not result in adequate infection control.

ZIFI CV 200MG TABLET is suitable for use both in adults and in children aged 10 years or older. Before taking ZIFI CV 200MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you have any stomach problems or kidney problems. You must also inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking ZIFI CV 200MG TABLET as a precaution.

  • Throat infections (such as tonsillitis and pharyngitis)

HOW ZIFI CV 200MG TABLET WORKS

ZIFI CV 200MG TABLET is a powerful antibiotic. It contains two medicines, namely, cefixime and clavulanic acid. Cefixime kills the susceptible bacteria by blocking the bacterial cell wall synthesis.

Clavulanic acid stops the bacteria from producing toxic proteins (such as beta lactamases) that can reduce the effects of antibiotics. Collectively, these actions destroy the susceptible bacteria and manage their further growth and multiplication, which in turn reduces the severity of the infection.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Take ZIFI CV 200MG TABLET as advised by your physician. It can be taken with or without food.

For Dispersible Tablet: Disperse the medicine in the required quantity of water before consumption. Consume the dispersed medicine immediately after dissolution. Do not swallow the medicine as a whole or crush or chew it.

Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you depending upon your age, body weight, and severity of the infection. Do not skip doses or stop taking ZIFI CV 200MG TABLET without consulting your doctor, as it may increase the severity of the infection.
