HOW MONTAIR LC KID TABLET WORKS
MONTAIR LC KID TABLET contains two medicines namely, levocetirizine and montelukast.
- Levocetirizine: It is an antihistamine that blocks the action of histamine, a chemical released by the immune system during an allergic reaction. By blocking histamine, it reduces symptoms like itching, sneezing, runny nose, and watery eyes.
- Montelukast: It is a leukotriene receptor antagonist that blocks the action of leukotrienes, chemicals in the body that cause inflammation, swelling, and constriction of the airways. This helps in reducing airway inflammation and controlling asthma symptoms, as well as treating allergic rhinitis.
