HOW METOSARTAN CH 25 TABLET WORKS
METOSARTAN CH 25 TABLET effectively reduces the blood pressure and workload in the heart, where Chlorthalidone acts by enhancing the excretion of sodium and water from the body and Telmisartan acts by blocking the effects of Angiotensin II (a substance produced in your body that causes narrowing of blood vessels). Metoprolol acts by blocking the beta-1 receptors and reducing the effects of stress hormones in the heart, leading to a low heart rate and a fall in blood pressure.
