HOW TO MANAGE SIDE EFFECTS

Diarrhea

To manage diarrhea caused by medication use, it's important to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of fluids like water, clear broths, and oral rehydration solutions to replace lost fluids and electrolytes. Avoid foods that can worsen diarrhea, such as dairy products, fatty or spicy foods, and high-fiber items. Instead, opt for a bland diet including bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast (the BRAT diet). Additionally, probiotics may help restore gut balance. If diarrhea persists or is accompanied by severe symptoms such as dehydration, blood in stools, or abdominal pain, seek medical attention promptly.

Dizziness Or Drowsiness

To manage dizziness, start by sitting or lying down as soon as you feel dizzy to avoid falls or injury. Rest in a quiet, safe place until the dizziness passes. Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water, as dehydration can worsen dizziness. Avoid sudden movements, especially when getting up from a seated or lying position, as this can trigger or worsen symptoms. Consuming light meals and avoiding alcohol, caffeine, and tobacco can also help. If dizziness persists, becomes severe, or is accompanied by other symptoms like chest pain or fainting, contact your healthcare provider immediately.
