About this item

INTRODUCTION ABOUT ECOSPRIN 75MG TABLET

Ecosprin 75 Tablet contains Aspirin, which belongs to the group of medicines called Antiplatelet agents. It inhibits the formation of blood clots in the body and reduces the risk of its associated conditions (like a heart attack or stroke). Blood clots (also known as thrombosis) are formed in the body due to the excessive clumping of tiny blood cells called platelets in a particular region of a blood vessel.

These blood clots can happen in any blood vessels supplying major organs (like the heart or brain) and usually stop or reduce the flow of blood and oxygen to the organs, leading to various thrombotic problems like heart attack, angina, or stroke. Ecosprin 75 Tablet can also be used to reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke among patients who have recently undergone bypass surgery.

While taking Ecosprin 75 Tablet, it is important to keep yourself hydrated, as it may make you get dehydrated (excessive thirsty with dryness of mouth) very easily.

Before taking Ecosprin 75 Tablet, inform your doctor if you have asthma or any liver, kidney, or heart problems. Ecosprin 75 Tablet is generally not recommended for use in pregnant or breastfeeding women or in children (aged below 16 years) unless advised by the doctor.

The most common side effects of taking Ecosprin 75 Tablet are indigestion and bruising. Consult your doctor if any of the side effects worsen.

HOW ECOSPRIN 75MG TABLET WORKS

It reduces the formation of blood clots by inhibiting the production of certain enzymes and hormones that are involved in the aggregation of platelets (tiny blood cells involved in blood clotting), which ultimately results in the management of thrombotic disorders like heart attack or stroke.
