What COBADEX CZS is used for?

COBADEX CZS contains the below mentioned components, which have the following uses:

Vitamin B3, B6, B9 and B12:

• Vitamin B3 is involved in the production of energy, and the synthesis of fatty acids, cholesterol and steroids
• Vitamin B6 takes part in the formation of some important co-enzymes involved in the metabolism of amino acids, proteins, and glycogen
• Vitamin B9 and Vitamin B12 are essential for erythropoiesis, maturation of red blood cells, formation of myelin sheath in nerve cells, and biosynthesis of DNA

 Chromium, Selenium, Zinc:

• Chromium potentiates insulin action, and thus influences carbohydrate, lipid, and protein metabolism
• Selenium has been implicated in the protection of body tissues against oxidative stress (antioxidant), in growth and development
• Zinc is an essential component of a large number of enzymes participating in the synthesis and degradation of carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, nucleic acids and micronutrients. It plays a major role in the immune system. It is important for normal growth, wound healing, sexual maturation, and for the release of insulin
