ALFUSIN 10MG TABLET contains Alfuzosin which belongs to the group of medicines called Alpha-1-blockers. It is used to provide relief from moderate to severe symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia in affected individuals.
Benign prostatic hyperplasia is a non-cancerous condition that increases the size of the prostate and it is generally characterized by symptoms such as increased urinary frequency, unusual urine color/smell, urinary urgency, weak/interrupted urine stream, and pain after urination/ejaculation.

It is also not recommended for use in patients with orthostatic hypotension (low blood pressure while standing up from a sitting or lying position), liver problems and should be used with caution in patients with kidney problems (such as mild, moderate and severe kidney problems).
