INTRODUCTION ABOUT KARVOL PLUS CAPSULE
KARVOL PLUS CAPSULE is a combination of Camphor, Chlorothymol, Eucalyptus Oil, Menthol, and Terpineol which belong to the group of medicines called Antitussives, Antimicrobials, Expectorants, Nasal Decongestants, and Antibacterial agents, respectively. It is used to relieve the blockage in the nasal passage and helps with breathing. KARVOL PLUS CAPSULE is also used to relieve nasal symptoms such as runny nose, itchy nose, stuffy nose, sneezing, and post-nasal drip.
Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you have liver impairment, end-stage kidney disease, or if you are on haemodialysis. KARVOL PLUS CAPSULE is not recommended for use by pregnant, breastfeeding women, or children (aged below 3 years).
The most common side effects associated with the use of KARVOL PLUS CAPSULE are nasal irritation or dizziness. Consult your doctor if any of the above side effects worsen or persists for a longer duration.
USES OF KARVOL PLUS CAPSULE
It is used to relieve:
- blockage in the nasal passage and helps with better breathing
- nasal symptoms such as runny nose, itchy nose, stuffy nose, sneezing, and post-nasal drip
HOW KARVOL PLUS CAPSULE WORKS
KARVOL PLUS CAPSULE helps to provide relief from nasal congestion, reduce inflammation in the nasal passages. It improve breathing by clearing the nasal passages and reduces congestion and provides itchy and irritated nose.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Take KARVOL PLUS CAPSULE as advised by your physician. It is for inhalational use only. Snip off the tip of the capsule. Squeeze out the contents into a half-litre of boiling or hot water and inhale the vapours directly and freely, or you can add the medicine to a tissue or cloth handkerchief and inhale. At night, the inhalant can be effectively used on the pillow or nightdress.

HOW TO MANAGE SIDE EFFECTS
Dizziness Or Drowsiness
Lie down until the dizziness passes and get up slowly. Do not bend down suddenly. Get a lot of rest. Walk slowly and carefully. Take plenty of fluids. Avoid drinking coffee, alcohol, or smoking. Consult your doctor if the condition persists for a long time or gets worse.
Headache
Take rest and plenty of water. Avoid taking alcohol and skipping meals. Do not strain your eyes by watching the screen for a long time. Consult your doctor if the condition persists for a long or gets worsened.
Nausea And Vomiting
Drink lots of fluids, such as water to keep yourself hydrated. Stick to simple meals. Avoid eating rich or spicy food. Consult your doctor if the symptom gets worse.
